A quick, non-invasive means to quantify nasal cavity volumes and cross sectional areas using sound pulse technology. In addition to providing a means of establishing nasal obstruction that may adversely influence smell testing, this device has multiple applications. These include surgical pre/post comparisons, nasal symmetry assessment, allergen challenge recording, and quantification of the nasal effects of decongestants, hay fever and viral infections. Runs on Windows 98 or later and includes 5 pairs of medium and large anatomically conformed nosepieces, a PCI interface card with set up software and manual, adjustment tools and user hardware and software manuals. This device is warranteed by GM Instruments, Ltd, and should be serviced only by such.
